We will accept cash, certified check or a personal check with proper ID and signed in our presence for the deposit. The personal check must be drawn off of a local bank. The required 10% deposit is waived where the purchaser is the first lienholder. The unpaid balance of the purchase price must be paid to the Montgomery County Sheriff by certified or cashier's check within thirty (30) days of the filing of the confirmation entry. The plaintiffs' attorney will prepare the confirmation entry and the deed. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will transfer and record all deeds within 14 days of receiving the deed, confirmation entry and final payment. The purchaser may be responsible for paying the transfer, recording and conveyance fees for cases purchased at the Sheriff Sale.
