Thank you for your interest as a fellow Realtor in one of our upcoming
Auctions! How do you get paid ?? Here's how. Realtors who wish
to collect a commission on a property at Auction need to follow a few simple
steps. (Each Auctioneer may have their own policy on compensation.
Please check with the appropriate Auctioneer.)
- Educate your client on the value of the property.
- Attend a viewing and the Auction with your client.
- Submit a written opening bid (form provided below) no less than 48
hours prior to the Auction.
- If your client is the successful buyer and closes on the property, your
brokerage will receive 3% of the amount of their written opening bid.
Exclusions to compensation
- If our company has had any previous contact with the client regarding the
property.
What if I have a property for Ohio Real Estate Auctions
to sell ?
- Your brokerage will usually receive a full 3% Commission.
